For many, 'The Mummy' conjures images of Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz as charming adventurers foiling a plan for world domination. However, with this new reimagining, it has been described as a hardcore supernatural thriller, compared to horror classics like Poltergeist and even the grim crime thriller Se7en. It promises to be an intense and unflinching experience.
