On July 4, 1975, 23-year-old mother Nancy Perry Baird vanished from a Utah gas station, leaving behind her belongings, her car, and a four-year-old son who would spend the next 51 years waiting for answers. For decades, serial killer Ted Bundy was suspected in her disappearance, but a renewed investigation has turned attention toward a former police officer with a disturbing criminal history and troubling inconsistencies in his account of that day. In this episode of True Crime Squad, Katie and Kristi examine the overlooked witnesses, conflicting timelines, and shocking new developments that could finally help uncover what happened to Nancy Baird.
