Two days ago I lost my Aura ring at the gym, and I still haven't found it.
That sent me down a rabbit hole I've actually been in for years, on and off, with every tracking device I've ever owned.
The body bug, a few different Polar heart rate monitors, the Whoop, and now the ring I've had since before Aura was even really a thing.
In this episode I'm thinking out loud about the real pros and cons of wearing one of these, including a confession I'm not totally proud of, a stretch where I caught myself gaming my own readiness score just to watch the number climb.
I also get into why I have consistently high daytime stress readings, what that's actually rooted in, and a client story about a glucometer that shows exactly how a tracking device should be used, for a season, to build real conviction, not forever.
I don't land on an answer for whether I'm buying a new one.
If you've ever had a love-hate relationship with your own tracker, I think you'll relate to this one.
