AI data centers are popping up across America, draining massive amounts of electricity and water while communities are being told it’s all necessary so we can beat China in the artificial intelligence arms race. I joined The Matt Gaetz Show to break down what’s actually true, what’s being exaggerated, and why two things can be true at the same time: China has every incentive to influence the debate over American AI development, and Americans have very legitimate reasons to question giant data centers showing up in their communities.
