I used to believe silence gave me the air of sensibility, helping me to appear professional which would keep me safe. In reality, much of it was old conditioning dressed up as maturity. We introverts are often rewarded for staying quiet long before we ever understand the cost of it. In this episode, I unpack why silence became a survival strategy, why trite advice like speak up rarely works, and how we can begin unlearning habits that no longer serve us. This is not about competing with louder people or forcing ourselves to perform confidence. It is about reclaiming the right to contribute freely, wisely and unapologetically.
