What if becoming braver isn't about finally reaching a point where we can say, "Right, that's bravery sorted"? I'm still becoming braver myself, still getting the collywobbles, and still having to choose bravery when fear would make staying put so much easier. My messy journey has made me curious about the complexity of the bravery continuum, and about what sits between recklessness and cowardice. Perhaps becoming braver is about getting curious enough to notice what is holding us back, then deciding what matters enough to inspire us to take the next step. And perhaps that is why it is an adventure rather than a challenge.
