276. Technology in Schools: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly with Stephanie Howell

There are ways schools can use technology to deepen the learning process, but sometimes it’s used more like a babysitter than a learning tool!

Today, I’m joined by education leader Stephanie Howell for an exciting episode about technology in schools. Stephanie explains what the research tells us about extensive technology in the classroom. She gives us strategies for supporting teachers as they integrate technology meaningfully, along with ways to help them become more comfortable using it. You’ll learn how to use technology to deepen learning and encourage students to get creative. Some other topics in this episode include: the station rotation model, using reflection to make learning sticky, and how to use AI to create student groups.
