Venus, retrograde in detriment at 3° Scorpio, squares Pluto at 3° Aquarius, exact overnight Monday into Tuesday. It’s two fives and two fixed signs: the Five of Cups (what got taken from you) against the Five of Swords (what you took from someone else). On Monday the Moon in Aquarius runs the whole circuit. She sextiles Neptune, conjoins Pluto, squares Venus, and trines Uranus, touching every planet from July’s 4° convergence. Late in the afternoon she crosses 10° Aquarius into the Six of Swords, the quiet crossing where the swords come with you. Then she sextiles Saturn and opposes Mars in Leo, so the deal the warrior made with the builder has to be felt, not just planned. Mercury stations retrograde Saturday at 21° Scorpio, so the messenger joins Venus in review. Before you send the message or make the accusation, ask whether you’re trying to resolve what happened or make somebody feel what you felt. Know thyself. Balance your energy.

Takeaways

  1. Venus is retrograde and in detriment at 3° Scorpio, in Mars’ bounds and the Five of Cups decan. She squares Pluto at 3° Aquarius in the Five of Swords. The Five of Swords is what you took from somebody, the Five of Cups is what got taken from you, and most of us are holding both at once.
  2. Scorpio and Aquarius are both fixed signs, so both sides have dug in. Water insists the feeling matters and air insists the principle matters, and neither wants to be first to yield. The square goes exact overnight Monday into Tuesday.
  3. The Moon leaves Capricorn (detriment, where feelings get rationed) for Aquarius, which has the same landlord, Saturn, in a different room. Aquarius can give you enough distance to explain a feeling without ever feeling it.
  4. Monday the Moon touches all three generational planets from the 4° convergence. She sextiles Neptune at 2° Aries (the fog), conjoins Pluto at 3° Aquarius (the basement), and trines Uranus at 5° Gemini (the lightning). What happened in the sky in July now happens in your chest.
  5. Moon conjunct Pluto brings buried feelings up to be looked at and transformed. If you’re angry, ask what’s underneath it, and if you’re withdrawing, ask whether you’re protecting a boundary or making somebody suffer because you can’t say what hurt.
  6. Moon square Venus raises the difference between what you need, what you want, and what you’re entitled to demand. Are you asking for reassurance or demanding proof, and are you protecting your worth or asking somebody else to prove it?
  7. Moon trine Uranus asks you to review your own lightning: sudden moves, changing moods, and the need for space. There’s a difference between taking space and making somebody guess where they stand, and the old feeling coming back doesn’t require the old reaction.
  8. The Moon crosses 10° Aquarius into the Six of Swords, Mercury’s decan. It’s the ferryman’s passage from rough water to calm, but the swords come with you, so don’t swing them in the boat. The Swords arc runs avoided (Two), faced (Three), rested (Four), a fight worth winning (Five), and carried across (Six).
  9. The Moon sextiles Saturn, retrograde and fallen at 10° Aries, with the Moon the guest reaching back to her landlord. The lesson is the difference between a defense (“I have to stop you from making me feel this”) and a boundary (“this is what I’ll do if it keeps happening”). Saturn asks for the response you can sustain, not the biggest promise.
  10. By nightfall the Moon opposes Mars at 12° Leo: the Six of Swords against the Six of Wands, the quiet crossing against the victory parade. Mars is still just past his trine to Saturn, and the Moon leads the night sect, so each malefic meets her on home ground. The danger is letting an old wound make a new decision.
  11. The dispositor chain keeps coming back to Mars: Moon to Saturn to Mars, Venus to Mars, Mercury to Mars, Neptune to Mars, Mars to the Sun, the Sun to Venus, and Venus back to Mars. This is why Monday is the test: Saturn offered the structure and Mars tests whether you’ll use it.
  12. Mercury stations retrograde Saturday at 21° Scorpio and joins Venus in review. Before you decide what someone meant, check what they actually said. Fear can make suspicion feel like certainty, desire can make control feel like love, and anger can make punishment feel like justice.
