Pluto stations direct at 3° Aquarius, and the audit that began in July’s 4° Convergence reaches its turning point. The question is no longer what had to die, but what is strong enough to be built. Pluto turns forward in the Five of Swords, the hollow win, and asks whether the fight you’re winning is worth it. While he was retrograde, nearly the whole royal court (Venus, Jupiter, the Sun, Mercury, the Moon, and finally Mars) had to stand across from him in Leo. Now Mars trines Saturn, Pluto’s landlord, and the hammer finds its anvil: temper becomes tenacity. Pluto returns to the 4° foundation degree on December 19th, so whatever you build is what he’ll stand on. Know thyself. Balance your energy.

Takeaways

  1. Pluto stations direct at 3° Aquarius, in Saturn’s sign, Mercury’s bounds, and the Venus decan (the Five of Swords). A station is the moment the underworld holds its breath, and whatever survived the dig starts moving forward.
  2. The Five of Swords is the hollow win, where somebody won but lost everybody in the process. Coming off yesterday’s Four of Swords, Pluto asks the knight who picked the sword back up: is this a fight worth winning?
  3. While Pluto was retrograde, the court walked through Leo and opposed him one by one: Venus on June 17th, Jupiter on July 20th, the Sun on July 26th, Mercury and the Moon on August 11th, and Mars on October 3rd. Only Saturn, the host, never faced him.
  4. The parade marched across July’s 4° Convergence, when Neptune, Pluto, Uranus, and Jupiter all locked onto 4°: Neptune dissolves, Pluto transforms, Uranus shocks, and Jupiter demands more. Four is the foundation number, and Pluto returns to 4° Aquarius on December 19th, so he’ll be standing on whatever you build.
  5. The rulership chain closes into a loop: Pluto to Saturn, Saturn to Mars, Mars to the Sun, the Sun to Venus, and Venus back to Mars. Pluto’s forward direction gets delivered through the Mars-Saturn trine.
  6. A Mars-Saturn trine is the hammer finding its anvil. Mars has the nerve and Saturn knows what’s worth charging toward, which is the difference between temper and tenacity, with patient starts and lasting finishes. Saturn is in fall, so this is the builder working in the warrior’s camp.
  7. The Five of Swords is the wrong use of Mars (winning the argument and leaving everybody behind) and the Mars-Saturn trine is the right one: one clean cut, a decision you can sustain after the anger has passed. Anger can show you where it hurts, but it isn’t a blueprint.
  8. The audit was never meant to leave you empty, it was meant to show you what could survive. Don’t confuse being right with being free, and build only what can survive the truth. Venus, the first one through the line, returns on Sunday to square Pluto.
