The French Loudun Possessions: Devils, Desire, and a Burning Truth

In 1632, an entire convent of nuns was allegedly possessed by demons.  In the centre of all this was a Mother Superior, an exorcist, and a priest.  By the end of these events, one would become famous, one would go insane, and the last one would be dead.
