Montreal Canadiens fans are buzzing: Could Connor McDavid really end up in Montreal? Laura Saba and Ian Boisvert tackle this hot question, exploring whether the Habs’ current roster, cap space, and prospects put them in contention for the league’s biggest superstar. Trade ideas for Mark Scheifele and Ryan O’Reilly, roster building strategies, and the hunt for a second-line center take center stage as they assess how close the Canadiens are to a true Stanley Cup window.
The episode also serves up insights on rule changes the NHL should consider, whether Jakub Dobes’ struggles are cause for concern, and tips for braving outdoor games in Winnipeg. A fun Pokémon-themed segment pairs Habs players with their pocket monster counterparts—don’t miss the unique comparisons! Loaded with listener mailbag questions and sharp analysis, this Friday edition is a must-listen for diehard Montreal Canadiens followers.
