Montreal Canadiens brace for the Buffalo Sabres twice in a week as power play woes and key injuries dominate the week. Can Alex Newhook, Nick Suzuki, and Jake Evans spark the offense and recapture playoff momentum against a Sabres squad missing Rasmus Dahlin? With the Capitals and Alex Ovechkin looming midweek, the Habs face a critical test of depth and resilience.
Laura Saba and Ian Boisvert spotlight Owen Beck's NHL opportunity, the latest roster shuffles, and question if a goaltending controversy is brewing between Jakub Dobes, Jacob Fowler, and Sam Montembeault. Special teams, back-to-backs, and lineup decisions take center stage as the Canadiens battle adversity in the Atlantic Division. Is this the week Montreal finds its missing spark?
