Life is all about the choices that we make. Sometimes we make the safe choices because we want the security of knowing our choices are right. Sometimes, we always play it safe and that causes us to never go after some of the wants and desires we have in life because, we do not to take a chance at losing what we have. But what if we don’t like what we have? Does playing it safe work?
Musicians and artists take risks for their music that drives their lives. They make decisions to work on their music, take risks in order to give themselves the best chance to succeed in a creative space, and the ones that end up taking the risks with all their heart tend to win in the end. So, how about one that formed a band from over 5000 miles away?
Miguel and Chris from the modern post-hardcore band Save Us join the Chord Progression Podcast as their debut album “Death to Something” is set for release on October 16th. On this episode, we talk about:
- How Save Us started and figured out how to make their music ideas become reality while the members live 5000 miles away, because it was all about the dedication to achieve a dream.
- The importance of taking the risks in life because, why play it safe when you only get one shot at life?
- Why “Death to Something” is a showcase of Save Me’s sound to show a natural emotional delivery to their message that we can all connect with.
