Anthony Michael Hall says the secret to a 50-year acting career is learning how to “outlast uncertainty,” and that can also mean signing up for a game show called Nation’s Dumbest. Hall talks with Kyle Meredith about getting past the title of the Fox and Hulu celebrity competition, being surprised by castmates like JoJo Siwa, Steve-O, Elle King, and Andrew Yang, and why the whole experience reminded him not to take himself too seriously. He also looks back at the difficult years that followed his John Hughes run, explains why he treated every TV guest spot like a major movie, and gets into upcoming projects including the indie horror-comedy Halloween Store and SWAT: Exiles.
