When you show up for the chanting, sincerely call out to Kṛṣṇa, and when one feels something for Kṛṣṇa, then the mind is automatically conquered. This is natural. It's not unnatural. It's not the kind of control or mastery over the mind that some yogi does by controlling the breath without going into the incoming, but rather, it's reconnecting with our natural dependence on Kṛṣṇa as His eternal servant, and when we feel that, and it's reality— "sa nityo nitya-sambandhaḥ prakṛtiś ca paraiva sā."

Sri Brahma-samhita (5.28) says we have this eternal kinship with Kṛṣṇa. It's not something we're adding, but when we feel that sincerely, then there is a sense of—there's an upsurge in our body. I'm not saying, you know, it has to be dramatic, but you feel it yourself, you'll notice that your mind is automatically controlled because you become enthralled with the idea that I have a connection with Kṛṣṇa.
