I have been in business for 11 years, and one of the most common things women tell me is that they feel lonely. Building an online business can quietly become an isolating life, especially when whole days pass without a proper conversation with another adult.
In this episode I unpack something that has been sitting on my heart. Everybody wants a village, but no one is prepared to be a villager.

I talk about the real cost of the friendships and community you actually want, and why being a villager sometimes means being inconvenienced, tired, or generous with your time when you would rather not.
I also share two stories I did not plan to tell. A family friend who came to our house every Friday to pray with us while my dad was dying of cancer. And a man from our church who saw my mum and me arguing in a car park and quietly offered to teach me to drive, then went on to teach my husband Karl too.
These are the villagers I never forgot.
