What if the Tower of Babel wasn't simply an attempt to build a tower to heaven? What if it was an ancient gateway designed to give supernatural beings access to our world?
In this episode of The Shaun Tabatt Show, I sit down with biblical researcher and author Douglas Hamp to explore his fascinating three-volume Corrupting the Image series.
Doug argues that some of the Bible's most mysterious passages reveal a much larger supernatural conflict, stretching from Genesis 3 and the Nephilim to Nimrod, Mount Hermon, and the coming Antichrist.
Drawing from his research into Hebrew, ancient Near Eastern traditions, and biblical prophecy, Doug challenges familiar interpretations of Scripture and offers a provocative perspective on the supernatural history of humanity.
In this conversation, we explore:
-
Why Doug believes Genesis 6 describes fallen angels producing the Nephilim
-
His theory that Satan attempted to corrupt humanity's genetic lineage before Noah's flood
-
How Nimrod connects to ancient Mesopotamian traditions and the coming Antichrist
-
Why Doug believes the Tower of Babel was designed as a supernatural gateway
-
The significance of Mount Hermon, the Watchers, and the Book of Enoch
-
Why Jesus' transfiguration may have been a direct challenge to the powers of darkness
-
The connection Doug draws between the days of Noah and biblical end-times prophecy
-
Why understanding these ancient mysteries matters for Christians today
Whether you're fascinated by the Nephilim, biblical giants, fallen angels, spiritual warfare, or the mysteries of the ancient world, this conversation will challenge you to look more closely at some of Scripture's most unusual passages.
