Merle Oberon, star of 1938's The Divorce of Lady X, had been involved in a car accident before shooting that left her face scarred. The comedy with co-star Laurence Olivier was partially filmed in color to cover up and mask the recent plastic surgery she'd undergone. The film was also a bit of a departure for Oberon who was known mostly for dramatic roles (The Dark Angel, The Private Life of Henry VIII and Wuthering Heights). The Divorce of Lady X also has scene stealing turns from Ralph Richardson, Binnie Barnes and Morton Selten.
Dan and Vicky discuss the classic British comedy along with a lot of recently seen like Leviticus, Disclosure Day, Moana, Queens of the Dead, Supergirl and The Invite.
