Jesus was the most interesting person in any room He walked into. He knew things no one else knew, could do things no one else could do... yet He stayed completely interested in the people around Him. That's the posture this message is all about.
In week 2 of Good Eats, Doug Wyatt shows us that healthy relationships require us to get curious, even nosy, about the people around us. (Philippians 2:3-5)
Notice people - choose to see them, not just be seen.
Open the conversation - ask questions that open the door to people's lives.
Stay interested - actually listen, don't just wait to talk.
Yield the spotlight - let others be the star of the conversation, not you.
Healthy relationships don't happen by accident. They happen when we shift from "me" to "you."
