As we arrive at Acts 19:23–41, we're told that "the word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily" (Acts 19:20). The Gospel is on the move in Asia.
In our passage, we see that this Gospel, the same Gospel that we continue to preach today, is a threat and a danger to false gods because it exposes the emptiness of idols, the hearts of idolaters, and the danger of idolatry.
