Newsround with Dave Davis | Liverpool's January Transfer Plans, Camara and Trent Latest | Part 2
Dave Davis returns with the second part of Newsround on Anfield Index, focusing on Liverpool's January transfer plans, the club's ongoing midfield concerns and several intriguing developments in the transfer market.
With fresh reports suggesting Liverpool could make a €50 million move for Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, Dave examines the Senegal international's impressive performances and whether he could provide the balance missing from Andoni Iraola's midfield.
Ryan Gravenberch's difficult situation also comes under discussion, alongside David Lynch's reservations about Liverpool completing permanent January deals for Camara or Ronald Araujo.
Attention then turns to Milos Kerkez, with Dave questioning whether the £40 million left-back has shown enough improvement under Iraola. Could Liverpool eventually reconsider their options, with reported interest in Josh Acheampong and Brentford's El Hadji Malick Diouf adding to the speculation?
There's also the latest on Trent Alexander-Arnold, as Steven Gerrard weighs in on a possible Anfield return and Fabrizio Romano plays down suggestions of serious negotiations between Liverpool and the Real Madrid defender.
Meanwhile, Dave delivers a passionate assessment of the controversial penalty decision against Arsenal, questioning Dermot Gallagher's VAR explanation and arguing that Liverpool must become more streetwise.
With Liverpool preparing for their Champions League clash against Fenerbahçe, Dave also considers Iraola's selection decisions and the importance of bouncing back from Sunday's defeat.
All this and more on Newsround with Dave Davis, exclusively on Anfield Index.
