Christina Applegate says her MS diagnosis was incorrect, Selena Gomez discusses vaping and changes in her voice, and Christiane Amanpour announces her departure from CNN.
I’m also catching up on Mariah Carey’s legal victory, the lawsuit against Erik von Detten, the latest Halle Berry court proceedings, and tonight’s Dancing with the Stars partner swap.
Plus: Alex Cooper welcomes her first baby, Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary scores a major opening weekend, and SNL UK delivers its response to Shane Gillis. Nailed it.
Then, my spooky-season recommendation: Crystal Lake on Peacock. Linda Cardellini is an absolute revelation—and finishing the series sent me straight back to the original Friday the 13th. Come for the horror, stay for Annie’s perfect hair and Kevin Bacon’s spectacularly bad dive.
Also discussed:
• Remembering Office Space actor Richard Riehle and model Sahara Ray.
• Ariana Grande’s tribute to her dog, Coco.
• The newly announced Broadway cast of Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis’ Warriors.
