Friday’s pop culture catch-up: Taylor Swift’s next performance is confirmed, Michael Douglas revisits his falling-out with Julia Roberts, and Summer House’s Bailey Taylor renews her “It Girl” copying allegations against Dave Portnoy’s Barstool Sports.
Plus: Journey drummer Deen Castronovo’s overnight hospitalization, the Crazy Rich Asians sequel series, and a premiere date for Ayo Edebiri and Will Sharpe’s Prodigies.
We also discuss Crystal Hefner’s plea to Jessica Biel about Playmates, Prince Harry’s reflections on depression and grief, David Byrne’s song built from Elon Musk’s own words, and Zara Larsson’s Trevor Project honor.
And Alexander Skarsgård’s transparent shoes inspire a footwear detour from Romancing the Stone to Jurassic World.
A personal note: next week’s episodes will be brief hotel-room recordings as I balance this unpaid passion project with work and single motherhood. Have a side gig or passion project of your own? Tell me about it!
