Why would the CIA and the Pentagon be interested in ancient pyramids, biblical mysteries, lost civilizations and the possibility that advanced technology existed thousands of years before modern history?
In this episode, we investigate the extraordinary claims surrounding government intelligence agencies and their alleged fascination with humanity's forgotten past. Drawing on the research of author Nick Redfern and his book The Pyramids and the Pentagon, we enter a world of classified documents, Cold War intelligence operations, mysterious archaeological discoveries and ancient technologies that some researchers believe were deliberately concealed.
From CIA interest in the Dead Sea Scrolls and secret reconnaissance missions over Mount Ararat to theories about Noah's Ark being an extraterrestrial spacecraft, the investigation takes us far beyond conventional archaeology.
We also examine the ancient Indian Mahabharata and its descriptions of devastating weapons, Robert Oppenheimer's fascination with Hindu scripture, the possibility of acoustic levitation being used to construct megalithic monuments, and the mysterious Face on Mars.
Could ancient civilizations have possessed knowledge that modern military scientists are only beginning to rediscover? Why did American intelligence agencies investigate researchers who proposed connections between extraterrestrials and ancient religious traditions? And what can declassified government records actually tell us about these investigations?
An exploration of ancient astronauts, lost civilizations, UFOs, military intelligence and the enduring mystery of humanity's technological past.
Topics include: The Great Pyramids of Giza, CIA investigations, the Pentagon, ancient astronauts, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Noah's Ark, Mount Ararat, the Mahabharata, ancient nuclear warfare, acoustic levitation, Morris Jessup, George Van Tassel, the Face on Mars and Project Blue Beam.
