Join Andrea Zuvich, The Seventeenth Century Lady, as she welcomes Professor Cordelia Beattie of The University of Edinburgh, for a chat about the life and legacy of Alice Thornton (1626–1707), a remarkable seventeenth-century woman whose autopbiography gives us fascinating insights into the tumultuous period in which she lived. Professor Beattie is part of the Thornton project based at the University of Edinburgh, funded by the AHRC 2021-24. The project's main output was a digital edition of the 4 MSS of Alice Thornton (1626-1707).
