Join us for the Wednesday 3 Martini Lunch as we focus on a new poll showing too many Americans willing to sacrifice press freedom to have someone decide what's accurate, Illinois Democrats trying to put gunmakers on the hook for gun deaths and injuries, Republican Michele Tafoya keeping the Minnesota U.S. Senate race surprisingly close, and crime rates in Memphis plummeting after a year of federal help.

First, we react to a new Pew survey showing 73 percent of Americans highly value freedom of the press, but a majority of people say they're willing to sacrifice some of that freedom for accuracy. We all should want a complete, accurate story, but who decides what's accurate? Surely not the government.

Next, they fire back as Illinois Democrats try to put gunmakers on the hook for the costs related to murders and injuries connected with firearms. We'll explain what's really happening here and why the left's logic on this is badly flawed.

Then, they're pleasantly surprised to see Republican Michele Tafoya within the margin of error in several polls in the Minnesota U.S. Senate race against Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan. Minnesota is traditionally a Democratic state. Can Tafoya's strengths plus a scandal-plagued Walz-Flanagan administration actually produce a win there for the GOP?

Finally, they applaud the dramatic drop in violent in crime in Memphis after the Trump administration intervened, It turns out that cracking down on crime actually leads to less crime.
