Coach Harvey Hyde comparing USC's talent to the rest of the Big Ten

On this episode of the Peristyle Podcasts hosts Ryan Abraham and Coach Harvey Hyde are back together discussing USC's bye week before the upcoming trip to Wisconsin. The 6-1 Trojans picked a good weekend to sit on the sidelines as the rest of the sport went through absolute carnage with top-10 upsets all over the place, making the race to make the College Football Playoffs wide open.

After watching a full slate of Saturday games, Coach Hyde got a good feel for the talent levels in the Big Ten and he compares and contracts those offensive and defensive players with what head coach Lincoln Riley has on his roster.

The guys also talk about the playoffs expanding to 24 teams and why Coach Hyde feels that is happening. They also discuss USC moving up to No. 16 in the AP Poll, Ohio State losing its quarterback ahead of that huge Halloween showdown in the Coliseum and lots more.

Coach Harvey Hyde has been part of the Peristyle Podcast since 2008 and in the USC football world he is an expert on X's and O's, personnel, coaching philosophies and recruiting.
