Hello and welcome to the fourth episode of the Helion Military History Podcast, hosted by Dr Christopher Brice, where we delve into the world of military history and specifically the books published by Helion & Co.
Today alongside the latest news about book releases by Helion, we feature an interview with Fergus Cannan-Braniff. We talk about his latest book The Gaelic World at War: Soldiers and Soldiering in Ireland 1366-1547. In a wide ranging interview the discussion moves from Ireland to wider issues of history and military history. There is also an interesting turn, when Fergus suggests similarities between the soldiers, culture, and soldiering featured in his book, and the Sikh Empire of the early to mid 19th century.
