Getting Closer to the Story: Spatial Video Journalism on Apple Vision Pro with Maura Axelrod

Dela

Maura Axelrod, co-founder of Primary: News in Depth, joins me fresh off an Apple Design Award win to talk about bringing spatial video storytelling to the news. We cover how filming in spatial video changes the viewer's relationship to a story, including coverage of an earthquake in Venezuela.

She also shares her path from ABC News to founding a journalism app built entirely around spatial video shot on iPhone, and what's next for Primary as she looks to bring in more journalists from around the world.
