New here? Start with Part 1 — Ep. 21: The Ugly Side of Burnout: How Unchecked Anger Lets the Enemy In

Today is the second episode in this three-part series, and honestly, it'll land a lot harder if you hear where the enemy got his first crack in the foundation.

If you've been carrying burnout for a while, you already know the exhaustion part. What nobody warns you about is everything that comes with it — the anger that leaks out onto the people you love most, and then the shame that rushes in right behind it. Anger and shame aren't signs that something is wrong with you. They're symptoms. They're what burnout starts doing to a woman who has been bracing for years.

Last week I talked about the anger. This week I'm talking about what comes after it. The 10-second window nobody ever talks about. It's the one right after the yelling — when the room goes quiet, and you hear yourself, and you know exactly what you just did. And that's the moment shame is born.

And when I kept trying to fix it on my own — the foothold the devil was creating slowly became the stronghold, and it's the same trap that's been working on women since the beginning of time.

What I'm sharing in this one

I'm telling you the part of my story I've never said out loud — where that pattern actually took me, and why my body finally said no on my behalf when I wouldn't. I'll also walk you through how a stronghold gets built, because once you can see the blueprint, you start recognizing it in your own life and you can't unsee it. And I'll tell you the thing that finally broke it open, which was the exact thing I'd been avoiding because of my shame.

This is the fruit of the Spirit that grew in the space where all that shame used to live — and I promise you, it was not what I was expecting.

If you've ever snapped at someone you love and then quietly decided you're the problem, this one is for you.
