In this episode, Carly, Jen and Jas sit down with Sherele Moody, an award-winning journalist and founder of Australian Femicide Watch and The RED HEART Movement — a living memorial to every woman and child lost to violence in this country. Sherele has personally documented over 3,000 deaths, built murals in their memory, won a Walkley Award for her journalism, and is currently leading a national petition with over 100,000 signatures calling for a Royal Commission. They get into why the Prime Minister knocked back the Royal Commission call, whether the $4.4 billion National Plan is actually reaching the frontline, what the media keeps getting wrong when it covers these deaths, and what it actually looks like, for men and for women, to intervene before it's too late.
