We talk a lot about grieving the person we lost. But we don't talk enough about grieving the person we used to be.
After trauma and loss, you don't come out the other side as the same person. You see the world differently. Your priorities shift. Some parts of you become stronger, while others feel broken. And for a long time, I thought healing meant becoming the woman I was before Owen.
In this episode, I'm sharing why I've stopped chasing my old self, how grief reshapes our identity, and why accepting the person you've become doesn't mean you've moved on-- it means you're learning to carry your love in a new way.
If you've ever found yourself wondering, "Will I ever feel like myself again?" this episode is for you.
