Nobody talks about ammonia. But it feeds half the world, it is the most credible zero-carbon maritime fuel on the planet, and the process used to make it has been largely unchanged for a century.

Karen Baert, co-founder and CEO of Ammobia, is changing that.

Her company has built a modular reactor that cuts production costs by up to 50 per cent, runs at a fraction of conventional pressure, and can be deployed anywhere, including close to the farmers and ports that need it most.
