In this episode, Becky Squire and Tess Frame finish their study of Isaiah with chapters 58–66 and the Come, Follow Me theme, “The Redeemer Shall Come to Zion.” These final chapters bring together many of Isaiah’s major messages: repentance, true worship, justice, healing, gathering, redemption, comfort, and the promise that Jesus Christ will ultimately make all things new. The invitation is simple and personal - turn back to God and let Him heal what is broken.
The conversation explores what real worship looks like, especially through fasting and Sabbath observance. Becky and Tess discuss how outward religious practice matters most when it changes our hearts and the way we treat other people. They also focus on Jesus Christ as the only Redeemer, the one who heals the brokenhearted, comforts those who mourn, gives “beauty for ashes,” and can take the broken pieces of our lives and rebuild us in a better way.
For women today, these chapters offer a powerful call to arise and shine. Tess and Becky reflect on allowing Christ to remake us, trusting Him with the parts of our lives that feel broken, and recognizing the influence women can have in their homes, communities, and the world. Isaiah’s final message is full of hope: God can comfort, restore, gather, and renew, and He has work for each of us to do.
