18. Rejecting Fear, Shining Brightly, and Disrupting the Norm in Astrology with Helena Woods

In this episode of The Heal and Harm Show, I chat with internet sensation and locational astrologer Helena Woods! We begin by talking about Helena's quantum leap and quick rise into being a person on the internet by tapping into her energy of belief, and aligning with her own personal astrology and locking into her mission to spread astrology education to more people in order to help them improve their lives. 

Some people are very easily triggered by people who are comfortable being authentic, being seen, and living out loud as their authentic self. We talk about about being a public person on the internet, dealing with haters and criticism, and saying no to the impulse to convince people to understand us. We talk about ethical business, having the audacity to BUILD something completely new when we see a need in the community or a gap in our industry's offerings. Helena also discusses her business model, and how to support students without doing ourselves a disservice when running a business.

We also discuss the importance of relating to astrology in a way that isn't fear based - and instead of using astrology to limit us and our choices, working with it in a hopeful way that is aware of any challenges. Astrology (and locational astrology in particular) doesn't have to be drama, doom, gloom, and fear mongering - it can be expansive for us, rather than contracting.

Helena also shares how her experience learning astrology completely shifted her perspective on fate and predestination, in contrast to free will and full personal autonomy.
