In this episode Fabian talks to Cologne-based architect Paul Böhm.
He designed, among others, the Cologne Central Mosque and the Trier Employment Agency, and worked with his father Gottfried Böhm on the Hans Otto Theatre.

Paul Böhm comes from one of Germany’s most influential architectural dynasties: his grandfather helped shape modern sacred architecture, while his father, Gottfried Böhm, was the first German Pritzker Prize winner.

We talk about growing up in this legacy, dealing with expectations and criticism, and how cities like Cologne can evolve between identity, function, and the future.

The conversation is in German.
