August 4th is Intimate Partner Betrayal Awareness Day — a day set aside to say out loud what so many of you have been carrying in silence: that what happened to you was real, that it mattered, and that it deserves to be named.
Today I'm sitting down with Andrea Rogers. Andrea is a Board Certified Coach and a Certified Partner Coach with APSATS — that's the Association of Partners of Sex Addict Trauma Specialists. She's also a Brainspotting practitioner, the founder of Fully Alive Coaching, and she works with women using something called the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model. And Andrea isn't just doing this work from the outside — she's a betrayal trauma survivor herself, which is a big part of why this conversation matters.
