Happy Friday and welcome back to another episode of Call Me When They Kiss! Today we are reviewing a more recent romcom, but not a brand new release. Rye Lane (starring David Jonsson, the new Black Panther) came out in 2023, and is available to watch on Hulu/Disney+.

This movie is similar to Before Sunrise in the sense that it is mostly walking and talking, but it is definitely more of a comedy. Yas and Dom meet through mutual friends after both going through rough breakups. They spend the day walking through London (including Rye Lane Market), grappling with the demise of their previous relationships, getting themselves into a few hijinks, and yes, falling in love. <3
