Jolene Ironside, DL team member, integrative counsellor, ADHD coach and holistic therapist, joins Dr Emma Offord for a conversation about the body's own language, and why so many neurodivergent people were taught to stop listening to it.

Jolene explains how children learn to override exhaustion, sensory overwhelm and physical discomfort just to keep pace with environments that were never built for them, and what that disconnection costs later in life: anxiety, hypervigilance, and a nervous system stuck in survival mode. Together, Emma and Jolene explore what changes when we come back into the body, including a beautiful centring practice Jolene calls finding your "soft front, strong back."

This is a gentle, grounded episode for anyone who has spent years living entirely in their head, and is ready to come home to the body instead.
