No deep theology today.

No Greek word study.

No attempt to solve church problems.

Fletcher has the microphone.

In this short bonus episode of Grace in the Grind, Cody hands things over to his almost-five-year-old son for bicycle jokes, thunderwear, milkshakes, and a very serious negotiation involving popsicles.

It is a little different from a normal cup—but maybe a pretty accurate picture of real family life.

Cody also gives a quick update on Coffee Break: Biblical Truth on Parenting, the podcast he and Christie created around parenting, family, discipleship, and trying to raise kids faithfully in the middle of ordinary life.

A second season of Coffee Break is being considered, and they would appreciate prayer for wisdom and clarity as they decide what that could look like.

Because family discipleship is not usually polished.

Sometimes it is Scripture and serious conversation.

Sometimes it is correction and prayer.

And sometimes it is a four-year-old explaining why a cow in an earthquake becomes a milkshake.

Thanks for hanging out with us for something a little lighter.

And apparently, Fletcher’s appearance fee is somewhere between three and twenty-six popsicles.
