In 2010, a car hit Austin Selby on a training run. Broken bones, fractures everywhere. Doctors told him he'd never run again. Sixteen years later, he's running 566 miles across Tennessee, Memphis to the Virginia border, on his own two feet. Not for a medal. For his daughter.

Austin is a 13-year college coach, a father of eight, and a follower of Christ who adopted his daughter Satie and refused to stop fighting for her when the systems meant to help her walked away. Satie is 17 and battling addiction and mental health struggles. When insurance stopped covering her care, Austin decided: if her insurance won't fight for her, he will.

He opens up about coaching athletes nobody believed in, raising eight kids, the night Satie ran away in California, the reality of Skid Row, and what it means to keep showing up for someone who isn't ready to be helped yet.
