Drew Doughty has officially taken the captain’s reins of the Los Angeles Kings, marking a historic moment as the franchise’s 15th captain and a fitting tribute to his decades of leadership and championship pedigree. With two Stanley Cups under his belt and a relentless drive to win, Doughty is ready to lead by example — backed by a strong alternate captain group including Artemi Panarin, Adrian Kempe, and Mikey Anderson. This new chapter signals the Kings’ renewed focus on legacy, grit, and playoff success.
