X Minus One - "The Man in the Moon" (1955)

A routine nationwide missing-persons broadcast is interrupted by a mysterious distress signal that seems to come from the Moon. When records custodian Henry Timkin recognizes a name in the transmission, a trail through government files points toward a disturbing pattern of vanished scientific talent. Written by George Lefferts and directed by Fred Weihe, this suspenseful radio mystery remakes Lefferts’s earlier 1950 Dimension X play and features Joe DeSantis, Luis Van Rooten, and Ross Martin.
