Dom Torres and Kyla Denanyoh overanalyze The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20, Episode 8, where the women are back from Vegas, Carmela hosts a pool party, and everyone seems to have something to say about Heather.

First, Dom would like to normalize recovering from a Housewives trip with an IV and Raising Cane’s, which naturally leads to discussing Carmella’s pool party with real food (hot dogs and buns!), ice cream, beautiful views, and Carmela disappearing inside for a break while her guests entertain themselves.

Dom wonders Season 20 is officially a gang-up on Heather season. Heather is getting called out for being two-faced, but is all of the criticism warranted, or are we missing important footage that would explain why everyone is so irritated with her?

Dom Torres and Kyla Denanyoh also question why Gina and Emily suddenly become awkward around Carmella’s boyfriend Danny after learning that he cheated. Carmella’s honesty about the relationship leads to a larger conversation about infidelity, forgiveness, trusting your own intuition, and why you probably can’t crowdsource a decision about whether to stay with someone.

Meanwhile, Emily and Shane’s dinner gives Kyla her first Housewives husband confessional—and a lot to overanalyze. Is Shane resentful about being the stay-at-home parent, or does he sound like every exhausted default parent? Dom has considerably less sympathy for this “odd couple”.
