The Grand Canyon is gorgeous, Vicki is judgmental, and Kyla may have found her favorite Orange County Housewife. Episode 6 of The Real Housewives of Orange County takes the cast to the Grand Canyon, where Dom Torres & Kyla Denanyoh are almost as distracted by the scenery as they are by the women.

Dom wonders how close the Housewives were actually allowed to get to the edge and whether a champagne toast was really necessary at one of the most beautiful places in the country. Meanwhile, Kyla is already planning a future trip where she can spend hours staring into the canyon.

A dinner conversation about scheduling sex leads Dom Torres & Kyla Denanyoh into a much larger discussion about communication. Vicki believes that if you aren’t giving your man sex, someone else will. Kyla strongly disagrees with this 1950s logic, while Dom thinks scheduling sex sounds completely unsexy.

Kyla also overanalyzes four words she hates: “It wasn’t that bad.” The sentiment appears throughout the episode as the women judge one another’s choices, especially when Vicki questions Carmella for traveling while her daughter was sick.

Vicki eventually apologizes and admits that her reaction had more to do with her own trust issues. Unfortunately, her confessional suggests that she mostly apologized because everyone pressured her to move on. So which Vicki should we believe?

Finally, Kyla declares Shannon her favorite Orange County Housewife. Dom, the Housewives Historian, warns that she has many seasons of Shannon Storms Beador to watch before making that decision permanent. Kyla doesn’t care. Shannon is weird, funny, emotional, and lovable, and Kyla is here for weird people because everyone is weird.
