Lots of boats, setting sail, navigating the seas… and yes, plenty of very obvious sailing analogies.
But trust us, they're there for a reason.
They help us talk about dharma (…life isn't about just staying safe, we're here to live our dharma) and vairāgya (…if we want to avoid limiting ourselves, we can't stay safely in the harbor. We need to venture out to sea and embrace uncertainty. After all, certainty is not a prerequisite for action.)
