This 8-minute somatic meditation is designed to help you reconnect with the physical support, structure, and steadiness of your body through grounding, gentle movement, breath awareness, and mindful attention to the spine, ribs, shoulders, and places where your body is supported.
Through awareness of your seated foundation, gentle rocking, natural rib breathing, slow neck movement, and shoulder rolls, this meditation invites you to experience alignment without rigidity or striving. Rather than trying to create perfect posture, you’ll explore the quiet support and structure that are already present within your body.
Somatic meditation brings awareness to the body from the inside. By slowing down enough to notice your weight, breath, bones, muscles, and movement, you can begin to experience your body as something that supports and carries you—not something that needs to be constantly corrected. These simple sensations can also offer grounding anchors when you feel scattered, disconnected, or unsettled.
This practice is a gentle invitation to notice the quiet strength of your body. There is nothing to perfect and nowhere you need to get. You are simply creating a few moments to feel the ground beneath you, the structure within you, and the support that is already here.
