The Battle of Thapsus was the final major battle of Julius Caesar’s Civil War — a desperate last stand by the defenders of the Roman Republic against Caesar’s growing dictatorship.
In this documentary-style history podcast, we follow the dramatic African campaign of 46 BC, when Caesar faced the combined forces of Metellus Scipio, Cato the Younger, Titus Labienus, King Juba of Numidia, and the surviving Pompeians.
