This week on Doing It All(ish), we’re joined by Greensboro Realtor and business owner Deesha Hugosson for an honest conversation about what that actually looks like.
Deesha started her real estate career at 22 and has spent the last decade building a successful business, team, and personal brand. Now, with a three-year-old and a new baby at home, she’s navigating a completely different season of ambition. We talk about why she prefers work-life harmony over work-life balance, how motherhood has changed the things she is willing to say yes to, and why success has finally given her the ability to protect some of the moments she refuses to miss.
We also get into the power of social media for growing a business, why authenticity often performs better than perfectly polished content, building a team, outsourcing the things you simply do not need to do yourself, postpartum, mom guilt, therapy, and the invisible support that makes “doing it all” possible. Deesha also shares why her husband has been such an important part of her ability to build the career she has.
It’s a conversation about ambition without pretending there are no tradeoffs, motherhood without pretending the guilt disappears, and the realization that maybe the goal was never perfect balance in the first place.
