San Francisco Opera and Orchestra are back on stage after a one-week strike, with a tentative five-year contract agreement reached—season performances for 2026–2027 officially restarting next week. Mayor Daniel Lurie praised both sides for their resolve, and fans can exchange, donate, or get refunds for canceled tickets. The season opens with “Simon Boccanegra,” followed by the San Francisco debut of “Mary, Queen of Scots.”
